Just a great shop. The room itself is super nice - the old mill looks a lot and is also very nicely furnished. The owners are incredibly friendly, we felt very comfortable. But above all, the food is just great! We each had a soup as a starter (very tasty) and then three different main courses, all of which were great. We were also enthusiastic about the idea with the divided side dishes (see photo), which were all very delicious. This gives the food a completely different atmosphere. We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back if we're in the area again.

The cook knows what he's doing. It tastes perfect. And the location / mill is also unique.

Very inviting atmosphere in an old mill. The hosts are very familiar, friendly and creative. They have a selected menu that says something for everyone, but the exquisite dishes are served on the plate with perfection by the chef. We serve with wit and charm and respond to requests. This location has a future. The menu changes frequently to show the individuality of this mill and its presence. The price is absolutely justified. If you want to send your palate on a journey of pleasure, this is the right place for you.

Great atmosphere in the old mill. Very attentive and friendly service. The food was excellent and the presentation really great. If you eat here you will really slow down. Everything is presented neatly and calmly and you feel well served at all times. We didn't have to wait for anything. Everything in the right time frame and the food to the point. And yet served with an inner calm. You feel good all around. However, you should take cash with you because card payment is not possible at the moment. Booking in advance is advisable at the moment. We will recommend it to everyone. And we would love to come back.

We stayed in Schmallenberg in a hotel on a wellness weekend. What was not apparent from the hotel description was that they understand a gourmet menu to be a buffet. Since we are both very reluctant to eat buffets, on Saturday evening we looked for a restaurant on the internet that was nearby. The choice fell on the Gasthaus Lennemühle. The ambience is very cozy. An old converted mill with lots of old wood and deep ceilings. The staff is very friendly and spoils you for the evening. We chose the 4 course surprise menu for dinner. The food was simple in terms of ingredients, but everything was very tasty and prepared with a kick. The price of 36 euros is more than reasonable. If you like unspectacular but good food, you've come to the right place. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a potato salad. There were also different types of homemade bread with two delicious spreads. The first course was a consommé with egg inlay. Then came a well-prepared salad and the main course was a really juicy corn-fed chicken breast. The dessert was panacotta.
